THE MOSCOW SHORT FILM FESTIVAL (MSFF–2009)

Moscow Short Film Festival has finished.

All prizes were announced at the closing ceremony at 21^st of December in cinema “Khudozhestvenny'”.

The program of this year is called «сreme de la сreme». 

Besides four competition screenings of the Moscow debutants in short cinema, which are the base of the program, the festival will include eight out-of-competition screenings.

Within the out-of-competition screenings the festival organizers will offer to the young filmmakers, audience and film fans a possibility to see short films of the years 2008-2009 that were awarded at the world`s best film festivals and the most famous Russian ones. 

The program will include films of the student competition of the Cannes Film Festival (France) and the main competition of the Kansk Film Festival (Siberia), the Berlinale 2009 competition program, Corto-cortissimo from Venice, the first international screening of short films – a Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival (France) and two Russian festivals: Kinoshok and Debut-Kinotavr. 

The student festivals such as VGIK Film Festival, «Piterkit» and the «Saint Anna» will also be represented in the program. 

As always, our partners Kinoteatr.Doc, Artkino (Moscow) will offer their most interesting works.

So, the audience and the Moscow debutants will have a good opportunity to see the best short films made over the last two years.
